President
Taylor Wilson
Taylor is the President of Wilson Capital and leads the acquisition, capitalization, and development of projects. Taylor has sponsored in excess of $3BN of real estate projects throughout his career including multifamily, single family, senior housing, affordable housing, and land development.
Taylor oversees and leads the strategy at Wilson Capital and possesses the ability to inspire innovative projects while practically ensuring projects can be executed on time and on budget. The additional principals and executives at Wilson Capital are very seasoned and have decades of experience to guide the firm and its projects. Taylor takes pride in putting together the team that is best suited for each project. Wilson Capital’s structure and disciplined approach allows the firm to execute on specific project types that it pursues.
Being a native Austinite, Taylor is very passionate about giving back to the community and is also actively involved in Africa New Life, an organization that sponsors and provides the ability for children in Rwanda to attend school K-12 as well as college.
Principal
Dezheng Sun
Dezheng is a Principal of Wilson Capital responsible for raising equity for projects. Dezheng has successfully capitalized $700MM of real estate projects over his career. Dezheng is an honest, diligent and detail-oriented person. Being passionate about capital markets and real estate, Dezheng has built a career in financial analysis and real estate development. Dezheng earned a degree in Finance from the Business School of Baylor University.
Chief Operating Officer
Tom Etheredge
Tom is the Chief Operating Officer of Wilson Capital and is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations. In his role, he collaborates with the management team to develop and execute the organization’s vision and strategies, and ensures the company operates efficiently and effectively, meets performance objectives, identifies and manages risks appropriately, and delivers best-in-class results for investors and other key stakeholders.
Tom’s professional career includes 35 years in the real estate and banking industries. This includes 16 years at Texas-based Guaranty Bank, overseeing the bank’s real estate lending, and over 10 years with Forestar Group, a publicly-traded real estate and natural resources company based in Austin, Texas. At Forestar, he oversaw real estate operations, and served as president of the multifamily development and construction division.
Tom, a native Austinite, holds a BBA in Economics (summa cum laude) from St. Edward’s University, as well as a graduate banking designation from SMU Southwest Graduate School of Banking. He has served on multiple charitable boards, as well as in governmental public office. He is currently a city council member and Mayor Pro Tem in Smithville, Texas, a suburb of Austin.
Chief Financial Officer
Brad Hite
Brad is the Chief Financial Officer of Wilson Capital and oversees the accounting and financial management of multiple large projects. His role incorporates overseeing an accounting team to ensure timely analysis and reporting on the financial performance of all projects and the company overall. He is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury and investor relations.
Brad has over 25 years of accounting and finance experience in the construction and real estate development industries. He received a degree in Finance from the University of South Florida. He spent 20 plus years in Tampa, Florida with his own companies developing real estate projects and providing operational financial oversight for other large construction projects.
Vice President of Development
Michael Lee, P.E.
Michael is the Vice President of Development at Wilson Capital, where he plays a pivotal role in the company’s development projects. With expertise spanning the full lifecycle of real estate development—from procurement and entitlement to permitting, construction, and asset sale—Michael is integral to ensuring that projects are not only completed on time but also meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Michael's responsibilities encompass evaluating potential developments through comprehensive underwriting processes, as well as managing and coordinating a diverse team of consultants focused on navigating the complexities of construction permitting. His strategic approach and meticulous attention to detail ensure that every project aligns with Wilson Capital's mission of delivering exceptional real estate communities.
With nearly a decade of experience as a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge in a variety of real estate sectors. His background includes extensive work on large-scale master plan communities, urban infill developments, and suburban multifamily projects. This multifaceted experience equips him with the ability to tackle diverse development challenges, innovate solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, where he developed a solid foundation in engineering principles and project management. His commitment to professional excellence and passion for real estate development reflect Wilson Capital's dedication to quality and progressive growth within the industry.
